In this episode of the Limelight Podcast, marketing specialist Lauren Brewer discusses the importance of choosing your audience when designing a Facebook or meta ad. There are two types of audiences to consider. Targeted audiences are targeted for specific traits like age, gender, location, etc. to get a new audience to know your brand. Remarketing is getting the attention of people who already know your brand in the hopes of getting them to convert this time. When trying to get conversions, look at previous analytics and consider what visuals will appeal to specific audiences. For example, if you want conversions from customers or clients aged 60+, use photos of people within that age range in your ads.
